1.Description
⑴CD type side latch Casing elevators are conventional side door casing elevators for handling pipes in oil and gas drilling operation. 
⑵CD side latch Casing elevators are made from high quality alloy steel with advanced technology and special heat treatment. The elevator is verified by stress test and NDT, and can handle casing of 4½in~36inO.D. The rating loads are 100t(900kN),125t(1125kN),150t(1350kN),200t(1800kN),250t(2250kN),300t(2700kN),350t(3150kN),400t(3600kN),500t(4500kN),
750t(6750kN).

2.Structural
CD type side latch casing elevators are square side door elevators, and consist of elevator body, door and other parts. The door is fitted to the elevator body by hinge pin and can rotary around it, which can open or close the elevator. When close the door, the upper and lower lock pins can automatically fully engage the door with the body. Press the lock pin handle and pull them outwards, the door can be open. Upper end of the main body is fixed with safety block iron, when the elevator is used in hoisting operation, the door can be closed due to the function of safety block iron. Only when there is no block force on the press-load surface, the door can be opened or closed freely, which ensure safety. Each elevator is equipped with one pairs of safety pins. After engaged the elevator ears with the elevator links, install the safety pin to prevent the elevator link disengage from the elevator to ensure operation safe.
