Design Features of mechanical drawworks:
l All bearings are roller bearings. Shafts of drawworks are made of alloy steel.
l Chains with forced lubrication can transmit with high accuracy and high strength.
l Drum of drawworks is grooved. Ventilating air clutches constitute the high and low speed ends.
l Brake drum (brake disc) is forcedly cooled with circulating water.
l Drawworks surface is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated, and is durable.
l Tooth profile of sprocket is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated. Involute-spline-tooth type clutch is used as shifting clutch.
l Main brake is band brake or disk brake, auxiliary brake is Electromagnetic eddy current brake (water-cooled or air-cooled).
